The Blog

You’ve planned for your wedding day for your entire life… and now a global pandemic is forcing you to cancel.

There’s no way around it other than to say it SUCKS.

But I’m here to support you and do my best to ensure you still have the best (postponed) day of your life — after all, what would a wedding be without at least one wrench thrown into it?

First and foremost, know that I (and all of your vendors) are here to work with you and support you in this difficult time. Remember, we rely on the income from weddings just as much as you rely on us to show up and do our jobs, so we actually WANT to work with you on rescheduling your dream day.

And don’t worry, if your chosen artist is not available on your new day, my team will be more than happy to provide you with a complimentary hair and makeup trial to ensure that we have your vision in mind.

Now, outside of your hair and makeup, you’ll still have a lot to reschedule and plan around — but the most important thing you can do for yourself is to take a deep breath and realize everything will be ok.

Life doesn’t always go according to plan, and this is one of those instances… But it doesn’t mean you won’t have your perfect day.

As soon as you make a decision on what to do about your wedding, reach out to your vendors via phone and/or email. If you already have a new date picked out, let them know right away.

If you want to use the same vendors, ask them what their schedule is and work around it to pick out a new wedding date.

Or, if you have a wedding planner, call them first. Talk through the situation and allow them to do their job and plan your (new) wedding.

We get it — the situation isn’t ideal, but this is our new reality for a little while.

You WILL have your perfect day… It just may be a little later than you initially planned.
