Weddings and fairytales have always been a favorite. I used to put on my grandmother's ruffled slip and pretend I was getting married to my stuffed animals over and over again.

Sarah is fueled by a deep belief that her profession is an art form. Like a true artist, her passion, drive, and determination led her to work for a luxury salon, expand her skills through a talent agency and eventually launch as a hairstyling freelancer specializing in weddings and formal events. Her success in the wedding and formal events industry has culminated in the creation of Black Tie & Blush where her expertise and elite team delivers a unique royal treatment feel wherever your special day may be. Airbnb, a hotel room, a fancy bridal suite or your parent's home? That’s ok, Black Tie and Blush is there offering glamour and royal treatment level concierge service.
As a national educator, Sarah currently travels throughout the United States with the French-based luxury haircare brand Kerastase where she mentors and coaches others in the industry. She has worked in New York Bridal Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week for Carolina Herrera; and has also collaborated with Hair.com and Behind The Chair.
I love Sarah! I met her by accident but as Bob Ross says, it was a 'happy accident'. She is so much fun, but her work is serious. She came to the venue and did the hair of me, my 4 bridesmaids, and flower girl. We all loved her personality (be forewarned it's infectious). Her work was beautiful and I could not have been more pleased. We had done a trial a few months prior and she took all comments and concerns I had about the initial meeting and created magic on the day of. The style held up all evening with no touch-ups. I could not have been happier to have Sarah be a part of my wedding day! If you're reading this because you are looking for someone to style your hair for the big day stop reading and call her!
