Dressing the part means nailing the Instagram pics and making memories to last a lifetime.

Whether you are a Native Nashvllian, in town for your bachelorette party or planning your perfect destination wedding here, you want to strike the perfect balance of bride-to-be celebrations and looking like you’ve been here before (even if you haven’t)

Celebrating your upcoming wedding doesn’t get any better than in Nashville. And brunching with your friends is always a big item on the to-do list. So here’s a quick and dirty bit of inspo to help you do it like a native and look amazing doing it.

So Broadway is great. Even Nashville residents go down there from time to time (don’t let us tell you we don’t) But there is more to enjoy than the carnival-like strip with the flashing lights, loud music blasting out of every bar, and the smell of booze and bodily-functions. There are some great spots for brunch close-by where you can indulge in making the bride-to-be statement, only a bit more elevated.

One of my faves is Hampton Social. While there are a TON of great spots around the area, this is one where one of my best friends, Jackie, had her bridal brunch and where I go from time to time to have dinner, drinks, or non-bridal brunch gatherings with my friends.

There are a bunch of great places for photo ops there, like a grass-wall and “Rosé All Day” neon sign with a big swing to take pics on. There is also a flower wall

Just found the above pics of my friend Meredith and I at Hampton Social in 2021. No one was celebrating an upcoming wedding, just a quick brunch and a couple of cocktails. But how cute is her top? It almost looks like a bride to be. But that’s how you do it right there. I don’t know where she got that top, but here is a little “Meredith-style inspo” I created for your brunch at Hampton Social.

Floral Print Corset Bandeau Top | White Blazer Jacket | Kate Spade Tote

If you go to Hampton Social, you’ll get a great view of the river-front, plenty of photo ops, super-nice staff and ah-mazing cocktails and food. Raise a glass with the “Gatsby G&T” or the “Starlette Espresson Martini.” But if you are ready to go balls-to-the-wall grab your server and order Meredith’s fave, The “I Glitterally Can’t,” a magical combination of strawberry gin, sparkling rosé, passoã passion fruit, lemon, and yes, “glitter balls”

I hope you are as inspired as I am with these clean, non-touristy, elevated looks that are far more real-Nashville culture than any yee-haw, too-tight-distressed-mini-skirt- with- pink-cowboy boots ever will be.
